Buddha statues often refer to the statues of Sakyamuni, Arhats 18, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Maitreya and Watchmen. Although these statues are well-documented, they are the images of mythical figures. Their appearance is depicted by different groups according to their hearts and imaginations, so Guanyin is everywhere. Buddha statues, the Buddha statues of Maitreya, or the supreme Buddha Shakya Muni, will be slightly different. When using natural stone to carve Buddha statues, each Buddha statue will have a different appearance. This does not mean that the craftsmanship of the manufacturer's sculptor is not good, but the reference materials are different.
Ordinary portrait sculptures are all historical or modern figures, with clear photographs or historical data for reference, the appearance of the image can not be modified. For this reason, in the sculpture of modern portraits, the requirement for similarity is very high, and there are no excessive accessories for body clothing to imagine and add. Therefore, it is also a statue of Confucius. The statues carved by various factories must be roughly the same, but the difference is in meticulousness or some details.
