| 大石窝石雕 Stone carving in Dashi 北京市房山区大石窝镇储有极为丰富的石材资源，品质优良，品种甚多。石材的开发最早可追溯至战国燕时，已有两千多年的历史。色泽洁润易于雕琢的汉白玉为建筑石材中的国宝，北京故宫等宫廷建筑及圆明园、颐和园等皇家园林所用的石料多采自大石窝。改革开放后，大石窝镇的汉白玉雕刻和石材加工有了长足发展，石雕工艺广泛应用于现代建筑，不仅远销全国各地，而且还走出国门销往世界许多国家和地区。因石刻文化滋养，大石窝即博得“石雕艺术之乡”、“书画之乡”、“中国民间艺术之乡”的美称，其中石窝雕刻世家刘氏家族石雕纂刻深受好评。2004年8月，国家发改委将此地列为国家石雕产业特色小城镇。 Dashi Wo, Fangshan District, Beijing, is rich in stone resources, with excellent quality and many varieties.
